SORRY ABOUT THIS, PETA!

I kept some furs that were in my mother's closet at her death a few years ago......they look a bit odd on me....but, they are warm....AND, I keep my house a bit chilly in winter......There's a big, padded-shoulder coat and a fur rug......These are somewhat off-putting to a few of my friends, but I can't see just tossing them....the creatures that were skinned for their pelts have been dead for at least 50 years. Their warmth remains in these coats....But, they are a bit creepy, aren't they?

Although my little Lumix, the camera used for the montage here, is serviceable.......it's failure to produce photos without significant noise led me, moments ago, to order a new camera with a larger LCD viewing screen......and, well...with newer and faster everything, more or less......but....small with a discretely dark low-profile.... Now, to discover how I adapt to the new instrument........

an hour at the Aquarium

Arriving in late afternoon, with but an hour before closing time....i rushed through, taking photos with my cheapo camera, which can only capture flavors, textures, colors and composition...with lots of graininess........click image to enlarge
