TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT.......
I may complain about the tacky, vulgar costuming, the usually sleazy, mediocre choreography and the manipulative contrivances of Network T.V. ..........yet, I'm hooked on DWTS.........Having decided, weeks ago, that Nicole and Derek could not be surpassed....even by Evan and Erin........I am now uncertain.
When the judges didn't bow down to N&D last evening.......and instead gave them nary a 10, I'm not sure at all about how the "viewers" will vote.........America loves Olympians, and Evan's really being Mr. Nice Guy...which he really is, of course.....but America rarely chooses real talent and artfulness over more shallow aspects of celebrity....which may harm N&D's chances to snatch the ugly trophy.........Erin and Evan are both lanky and tall, which makes "looking really good" much more difficult........and Nicole is near-perfect in every way........One can see who I'm rooting for...... "Faster Pussycat......kill...kill........" Yeah, the lift was a bit clumsy.......but the choreography and dance skills were out of the park! waaaay out.....
