The "eye" of the beholder determines the aesthetic. A close friend remarked at how "ugly" my bronze chameleon sculpture is......while choosing a tacky, sentimental greeting card with bunnies and kittens to send another friend......What could I say without seeming a snotty jerk to her? I love the chameleon which recalled the ceramic hooded lizard sculpture that my friend Hill purchased, 40 years ago.....It was beautiful, too!
