Cool, Balmy Monday with more flowers

THE AGEING RAINBOW FISH

In human years, he'd be about 90.....his two females cease to acknowledge his dominance in the aquarium that is their home, and he now eats from my palm......I've grown very attached to this old codger fish.....Even with his tattered fins and tail and catarrhed eyes, he leaps in the air when I approach the tank to feed him......

Bunnie's hunting perch

Centrally located, with a lovely view of local wildlife, Bunnie has claimed this location for her morning vigil; and, now that she has managed to dispense with her collar and bell, small creatures now roam at great risk. She has surpassed her greatest quotas, stalking silently through branches, under bushes and from natural blinds..........Today, I go collar and bell shopping.....say "thank you" small things with quickly beating hearts........
