Stolen from my Jewelry Store a quarter of a century ago.........It appeared, later, in an auction, at Christies, in 1987...........But, because I had no proof of it having been my brooch, which would have required my having remembered the 'numbers' stamped on its 'reverse'.....I could do nothing........so, someone shelled out $38,500 for a stolen pin that I had been offering for less than half that, in my Atlanta Jewelry Store!
