i love Jhane Barnes shirts! each is a jewel of creative design....another rolling rack? why not! I spoke with my old friend Adrian Gough who was once the lead singer for a New Wave group, The Basics, before becoming the manager of a Natural Foods Store......During our conversation, she said "I hope you've not gone conservative, wearing black turtlenecks and dark, peg-legged pants, Reed! It seems that all my old psychedelic friends could now be Republican lawyers and "family" men!" ..."errrhh...ehh....welll....." I said, "you know that could never happen, Adrian....Jhane Barnes is MY Brooks Brothers, my friend"....Then she asked, "You're still macro?" ...I was wearing a black turtleneck pajama top and eating a strip of bacon!... Embarassed by my own lack of discipline, I replied....lying through my teeth to preserve her fantasy of how it should all be.....and replied "alfalfa bean sprouts in the bridge and fermented tofu in the larder, Adrien!" I knew this would give her hope for the world...........
