how i 'see' Memory,.....we retain just enough 'shorthand' memory of just about everything we've seen....that's a Lot of data!......Our Brains automatically reduce the 'bits' for storage in our 2 1/2lbs of grey matter....then, when needed, reconstruct the images....filling in the empty spaces.......This is, of course, a reason to distrust memory.......
