THE BLOOMS THAT FAILED TO SHOW THEMSELVES THIS SUMMER........AND THE CONSTANCY OF THE TRUMPET VINES
The Summer of 2014's bunch of osteospermum was growing in an abandoned clay "big green egg" cooker on the deck outside the glass sliding doors.......the flowers
leaves are the same, but more saturated, color.........bordered by a darker purple........little pink trumpet-shaped flowers... tipped from their delicate stems.......This year, as in the past, hummingbirds drink from the huge clusters of waxy orange trumpet vine flowers that they share with bees and wasps that also love the sweet, delicious nectar.....
