AN ATTEMPT AT SIMPLIFICATION........OR.......JUST CALL ME "AYLMER".....

just another compulsive upgrade? I have gone through enough audio/video equipment in the last 50 years to fill a 10'x20'x10' area...... Each "upgrade" has resulted in better sound or picture, however.........but, as soon as I detect some aberration from the expected "perfection", I am eager to replace the "old" component with a more splendid one.....As much as I loved the technical achievements of the Fosgate processor, it's peculiar "glitch" of a slow LCD response time became the birthmark upon which I obsessed....and...it had no HDMI facility or ability to delay the audio or video signal by 2ms! This will be the 6th pre-amplification component that I have utilized in this particular set-up........What new advances will propel this new device into obsolescence, I wonder! Perhaps it will be "perfect" enough......This will be my first experiece with a Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration Circuit. Using a microphone, MCACC measures a room's acoustic environment, then fine tunes the sonic performance of your home entertainment system. For even more customization, one can view a 3-D graphic representation of a room’s unique acoustic topography on a PC.
