A neighbor barged by this morning, presumably..to deliver a package that was addressed to me but delivered to her mailbox... to whom I served some java and a slice of lemon ice-box pie.....She picked up this Portuguese enamelled silver filagree case, commenting:  "You actually think this is beautiful, Reed?".....I was speechless, as I watched her scrolling through some 'Home Shopping Network' jewelry....asking me what I thought of some really atrocious, if fashionable, jewelry....
