SWAI
I JUST BOUGHT SOME "SWAI" FISH, WITH WHICH I WAS TOTALLY UNFAMILIAR, AT KROGER'S...ON SALE FOR $2.99/LB. SOAKED IN EGG YOLK AND BREADED WITH "LOUISIANA FISH FRY", ALSO FROM KROGER'S (IT HAS NO SALT ADDED, BY THE WAY), COARSE GROUND BLACK PEPPER AND SOME "TONY CHACHERE'S ORIGINAL CREOLE SEASONING"......FRIED ON MEDIUM HIGH IN PEANUT OIL AND SERVED ON RADICCIO THAT I "WASHED" WITH "PRELIBATO" WHITE BALSAMIC WITH ONE OF MY "TARTAR SAUCES", THIS RECIPE FOR LEMONY MAYONNAISE MIXED WITH SALSA VERDE (A COMBO OF FRESH TOMATILLOS, GREEN CHILES AND ONIONS WITH A JALAPENO, FROM GARY'S PLANT AND SWEET RELISH AND A FEW CAPERS)......YUMMY......TASTES A BIT LIKE CAT FISH BUT NOT SO BOTTOM FEEDERY....LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN CATFISH AND FLOUNDER, I THINK.....Yea! OF COURSE I KNOW.......
pragmatic sensualist, motivated by really deep instincts, actualized by willful imaginings and perpetuated by other's desires.
