FORTUNY

i've long loved moorish/alhambran, moroccan, persian, indo-japanesey decor, and this Scherazadie chandelier has always intrigued me....i have never seen an antique one for sale, however...... crumpled Fortuny gowns are the ideal garment.....Alma-Tadema style Grecian robes and gowns that can be packed away, shaken out and worn...beautifully...in sumptuous gold and silver pleated fabrics......twisted silk cords, embedded in the fabric enable the wearer to reconfigure the drape, bias and length for varied aesthetic effects......
