Marie Callender's Apple Pie, weighing in at 863 calories per slice (more than a Big Mac...!), 49 grams of fat and 92 grams of carbohydrates....is so good that even my Grandmother would declare it better than any she ever produced........Why would I ever want to go to the trouble of making a Lattice-top apple pie when Marie will do it for $6.79! It is X-mas...Isn't that when mammals fatten up for the long, cold winter?
