LAZARUS POSEN 800 SILVER GOLD-WASHED MUSTARD SPOONS IN THE 'GERMAN ART NOUVEAU STYLE'..... PURVEYED, IN THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY BY "P. Bruckmann & Söhne of Heilbronn" (C. 1902-1905) THESE SPOONS WERE SOLD, ORIGINALLY, BY POSEN'S WIDOW, BRENDINA, 35 YEARS AFTER HER HUSBAND'S DEATH

 



Lazarus Eliezer Posen (b.1803  d.1865) was a Jewish silversmith of Polish descent.  Posen's widow, Brendina Wetzlar Posen,  founded Posen Silberwaaren in 1869
