Aren't ALL of the GODS just grand, confabulatory delusions of Men, with whom they are perpectually in conflict?

On the journey from Troy, back to Greece...AKA 'THE ODYSSEY', according to Homer, anyway, ......Poseiden, although he gets to swim around in the Sea, wearing a crown, bearing a lovely mermaid tail and a fabulous necklace, gets riled up over Ajax and drowns .......those Gods!.....always battling....like the Humans that designed them........
