THE BRONZE CREATURE

 

I've had this creature for many years.......Chinese or Tibetan........no one seems to know its age....what a beautiful green patina, nevertheless.....

I FOUND ANOTHER BRONZE BY FELIX MASSEAU.....

I wish his hands were relaxed, but.......

he is so beautiful.....it was a choice between a St. Frances of Assisi or this unknown Greek....I chose the less sentimental Greek "God?" to stand in a huge pot of Sansievaria. Perhaps I'll drill out his clenched hands and add a pair of lacquered chopsticks.......yes, I'm serious!
