Sold!....to the Ghost of Andy Warhol....for $24,000,000......a bargain at $3.99.......Come to 'The Gallery'....gaze upon the Desperation of Commercialism.......make pithy, smart, fashionably swarthy comments, while disguised as a Susan Sontag 'look-a-like'.....have another foie gras hors-d’oeuvres, dropping beluga caviar on the toes of your $1700 'basketball' shoes.......chat with Park Ave. hookers, on the arms of the Fortune "500"......This signifies 'Arrival' and permissions to establish, for the Hoi, in vintage Armani, the State of 'The Art".....Mr. Banksy, are you ready for your 'closeup' with Lady? Yes...I think I can 'squeeze' you into this 'shot', Melania.....turn around, so we can 'get' your overcoat, please......"How Big is that diamond, Jennifer?....and 'who' are you wearing?"...https://youtu.be/Bj2IVzYG2Lw No one but you will ever know!.......and, to think....shutter......I painted over that 'Big Eyes' painting that I bought from Berenice @ P'tree Quality Salvage, 50 years ago......then burned my painting in an oil barrel, thus, killing 'two birds with one match'......Now, to return to an abandoned project: lining an empty Roi-Tan Cigar box with a 'cut-up' Dali Painting that I got at a garage sale, for $125......I sold the "Joseph Albers' to Hal Chamberlain, in 1976, for a hundred bucks....to buy a new gas filter and 'plugs' for my Wankle Car.....I'm so excited that 'I can't breathe!'.....Breath deep.....it won't last, you know......Now, exhale....relax.....The Box is empty, just as Salvadore would 'have it'.....Fill it with loose change....or old stamps, rubber bands, Prism pencils or paper clips; then, stack it in a closet.....under some old Indian Blankets, hat boxes or canvas luggage.......When it ends up on a folding Samsonite vinyl-top, enamelled table, tagged "$2".....it will be only an instigator of another's new memories....
